`A Photographic Phantasm` is one of the smallest pieces in the April 1923 issue of Weird Tales: a physician's plain report of a family photograph that appears to include a child already dead.

This LitLab edition keeps the original text whole and treats the visual layer as a pilot for short-form reading. Instead of chapter recaps or Story Medallions, the edition adds a sequential comic-panel section beneath the ordinary gallery. Each panel uses a literal slice of the original text outside the image, so the artwork illustrates the document without inventing new captions.
